“May the Force be With You” by Jenn Emch
1. Stagger two 4×6 photos on the Basic Grey Cherry Cola paper.
2. Cut two pieces of the Fancy Pants Lounging patterned paper (orange side) and adhere next
to the photos.
3. Cut two strips of the Fancy Pants Lounging patterned paper (striped side) .5 inches wide and 10
inches long and adhere to the top and bottom of the photos.
4. Next, place your title on the orange Fancy Pants patterned paper. I used the negatives of the Scenic Route alphas for some of my title. I also sanded their edges a bit. Because my title was a bit long, I used the mini Jenni Bowlin rub-ons for part of the title as well.
5. For the finishing touch, I painted two of the Scenic Route chipboard
brackets white and placed them on the top and bottom of the layout.

Brag Book by Helen Croft
For the first part you’ll need:
~a piece of 4″ X 10″ cardstock
~a piece of 4″ X 10″ patterned paper
~2 pieces of 4″ x 4″ cardboard
~about 18″ of ribbon
1. You can round all the corners of the 4 different pieces if you like.
2. Take the ribbon and glue it centered to the cardstock.

3. Then, glue the two pieces of cardboard to the cardstock as shown in the picture.
4. Also, tape double sided tape across the center of the book. This is for the spine.

5. Adhere the patterned paper on top of the cardboard pieces.
6. Now you are done with the first part of the book; the cover.

7. Next part is to do the pull-outs. For this you will need:
two pieces of 3″ x 12″ cardstock or double sided patterned paper
two pieces of 18″ ribbons

8. Fold the paper in half and then half again. You will have a fold at 3″, 6″ and 9″.

9. Glue the ribbon, centered, to one end of the pull-out. Do the same with the other piece.
10. Then adhere the pull-outs with the ribbons, to your book. Make sure that they both open outwards.

11. Now you are basically done with your little scrapbook.

12. The fun part is left-to decorate the cover and the pull-outs. I do both the inside and the outside of the pull-out, but that’s totally up to you.

“Part Boy Part Fish” by Candace Prado
1. I started out with the Fancy Pants “Summer Soiree: Glimmer” patterned paper as a background.
2. For the wave effect I pulled out my old Creative Memories wavy cutter and the Bazzill Basics Polka Dot Embossed cardstock in Ocean. I sanded the cardstock a bit and used a chalk marker to highlight the circles.
3. After adhering the cardstock to the patterned paper, I matted the photo with Kraft cardstock and wrapped the bottom third in jute.
4. I hand cut a few fish from the Cosmo Cricket School’s Out patterned paper and applied each with a small glue dot while allowing the tail fin to flap upwards.
5. I added the title using the package of Scenic Route Aqua Redmond Chipboard alphabet, and topped it off with one more little fishy jumping over the top.
6. A touch more of the blue chalk marker to add a splash of “water” and my favorite red sharpie to complete the title and journaling almost finished it off for me.
7. I wanted add a bit of contrast in the top right corner; so I snipped inwards about two inches and folded each flap back.
8. I added a small piece of left over Kraft cardstock to the back to complete the missing corner.
9. A smudge of blue ink on the Maya Road Postcard Singleton stamp and applied to the Kraft cardstock in the corner was the last step.
