Oh No, I forgot…

September 23rd, 2009

everyone has those moments…forgot a co-workers birthday, a hostess gift, teacher appreciation day, it’s your turn to blog in Kraft Girls land (oh wait that one just might be me) what to do, what to do…

Have no fear, grab yourself a few binder clips (bigger is always better) and raid your stash for some coordinating paper strips and get ready for the quick and EASY project that everyone will love.

I used a few scraps from BG Wisteria Collection that is part of the July kit (a seriously good deal available now for only $16).  You’ll also need a really good adhesive, I love the embellishment glue stick from Pioneer, I know it looks like your average glue stick but it so not.  It sticks to metal, which makes it perfect for this project.

First measure the width of your binder clip and trim paper to match, then wrap around to determine proper length.  For the medium clips my paper ended up being 11/4 by 2 inches.  Smear, slather, both the paper and clip with your glue.  Start on one side and tuck the paper under the round part of the clip and wrap around the clip, smoothing as you go.

Next dig through your embellishment stash and find a few goodies to make the clip extra special…I used a little twine, a thicker(I know you have unused letters hanging around) and a Jenni Bowin pearl dodad.

Now stick a picture that your person will love into the clip, add a card to another and maybe if your feeling extra generous a giftcard in another, throw them in a gift bag and your on your way
