Meet our FABULOUS guest designer for March, Emilie Ahern:

I am a wife of Matt and a mommy of two little red-headed girls. I have been scrapping since 1997, when I made a small travel journal documenting my first trip to Europe. My passion is journaling and scrapping with graphic and bold colors.
I have an unhealthy addiction to… Project Runway, creme brulee, the color orange, blogging, simple carbohydrates and cool Indie music. I know every single word to every single song on the ABBA Gold album. It’s a crowning achievement of my life and I’m not ashamed to admit it.
I have been blessed to have my work appear in various publications and to be on many teams where I can share my passion for art with others. I am getting ready to teach some classes for Big Picture Scrapbooking and I am also the Co-owner and Editor In Chief for a new site called The Scrap Review, where we honestly review scrapbooking products.
Here are some projects Emilie created with the March kit:

After spending the past four years volunteering for a charity that helps children with cancer deal with their painful treatments and procedures, I have heard many heartbreaking stories. Some are stories of success, some not so happy. Nevertheless, every story makes me realize just how lucky and fortunate I am to have three happy, healthy, beautiful children! Life is perfect and I am so very lucky!
Even though it’s tough out there and we are in a tight situation right now…I am lucky – for having three healthy handsome boys (oops I included my husband) who are always making my day and everyday worthwhile. And always thanking God for being here today.
I feel lucky because in this economy my husband and I still have our jobs. Even if I grumble every day that I have to go to work, it really is a blessing.

I am lucky because I still have a job when many others do not. I am also lucky because my hubby is awesome!!!
I am lucky because we are having a second baby! I have been told by way to many doctors that this is a bad ideal and really inhealthy. And there are a million reasons why this little guy inside me should have never happened. But he did, by no choice of our own. And I an so unbelievabley blessed and lucky to have him. Even with my health at a serious risk according to doctors I kmow we will be okay and that my family is complete! That is why I am lucky!
I’m lucky for so many reasons. I live in a country where citizens have so many rights and freedoms that others are not afforded. My family is healthy and happy. We have enough. We are employed. We live in peace and comfort. We are so lucky!

I’m lucky because I choose to be lucky. I choose to look on the positive side of everything, and remember that nothing in life is perfect, but there is always some good. Finding the good is what creates joy. I am lucky because I know how to find that good and create my own joy. I have two of the most beautiful little grandchildren God ever gave a woman. They light up my nights and add sparkle to my days. I have the most wonderful husband and three most wonderful children. If a woman can’t find joy in that, then she’s in sad shape indeed
I love Emilie Ahern…she’s one of my fave artists on sb.com. I love her work!!! Anywho, that’s not what you asked. - April
I am lucky because I have a wonderful husband who works hard so that I can stay home with our two healthy, happy boys. God blesses us each day! Thanks for giving me a chance to verbalize this on this special day.
I’m lucky simply because I’m alive… there were an awful lot of times over the past year and a half when I didn’t think I was going to be.
I’m also lucky to have some totally wonderful friends who helped me get thru everything from dealing with chemo to finding a way to pay my mortgage… to just being there for me on days when I felt completely awful. (Love ya Pam!)
I am so very lucky to have my DH on the road to a healthier life now. You see he had a very rare disease called Cushing’s Disease. He had been sick for 7 years out of the 13 we have been married. He just had surgery in January to finally free himself of the Cushing’s, now he is steroid dependent for life. We can handle that though. God has pulled us through this terrible time in our lives. We have had such a strong faith in Him to see us through, otherwise, I don’t think we would have made it.
I am also lucky that today is my sister’s birthday. She always hated it being on St. Patty’s Day. I am lucky that she is still here too. She was diagnosed with throat(tonsil) cancer in December and will be finishing up her chemo and radiation next week. She had to have radiation today, unfortunately on her birthday, but she didn’t have to have the chemo today which is good.
Thanks for this giveaway…it is awesome!!
Leslie
Keep on smiling….even when you have nothing to smile about!!
I feel lucky because I have my good health, family, friends and a relationship with Jesus Christ! Plus, with today’s economy I am glad to have a job. And, I feel so lucky to have found a hobby I love and meet some of the nicest people I know! Thanks for the opportunity.
LUCK? Hmmm…I truly believe that I am lucky to have such strong support, faith, and love on my side. Each day I am reminded by those who keep me on the straight and narrow, keep pushing me forward, and whisper enduring thoughts in my ear. Thank goodness for awesome friends, family, and colleagues!
I feel lucky for a lot of reasons. The best thing thing happening in my life right now is that my six-year-old son who is autistic and non-verbal among other health problems, is starting to communicate using PECS, a picture exchange communication system. We started using this system in January, and after two months, our lives are completely changed, for the better!
I also feel so lucky to have a wonderful husband and daughter.
I feel very lucky to have a wonderful husband and awesome little girl. Most of all, I am a stay-at-home mom, and I feel very lucky to be able to do that, especially in these harsh financial times. We live in a world where living on one income doesn’t always work the way it did back in the old days, but we are very blessed to be able to do it and have one parent stay home and raise our beautiful daughter.
I feel lucky because things are going good in my life and I am happy. My hubby is a wonderful man, my kids are awesome, my son has a great teacher that is doing a wonderful job with him, I have some cool friends and great family!
I’m lucky because I have a job I love! In this economy I’m blessed to have a job that pays the bills, and to just love it is such a perk. I’m also lucky to have a wonderful hubby who supports me in everything I do.
I am so lucky to have an amazing husband who supports our family and my obsessive scrapbooking habit and I am so lucky to have two wonderful, healthy children whom I absolutely adore. I am so lucky!
I am so very lucky to have three beautiful and healthy little boys to kiss and hug every day! So lucky, and I try to tell myself that every day!!
Im so lucky because I have a wonderful husband who loves me and our kids. Plus, Im lucky to have such amazing, crazy, strong headed childrens. BTW, who never lets me have a dual moment
!!
I am lucky because i am employed, i have a wonderful husband and child and i’ve found and fell in love with scrapbooking!!! I also feel lucky because i’ve got some wonderful friends.
I am really thankful to this topic because it really gives useful information ,,.
In this great pattern of things you’ll receive a B+ for effort. Where exactly you actually lost me personally was first on your particulars. As it is said, details make or break the argument.. And that could not be much more accurate right here. Having said that, permit me reveal to you just what exactly did do the job. Your authoring is very persuasive which is most likely why I am taking an effort in order to opine. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, even though I can easily see the leaps in logic you make, I am not necessarily confident of exactly how you appear to connect the details which in turn help to make the conclusion. For the moment I shall yield to your position however hope in the foreseeable future you actually link the facts better.
